Between 2019 and 2023, my collage practice developed through wearable works constructed on reclaimed denim jackets. These pieces functioned as portable landscapes—self-contained worlds where plants, animals, water, and sky coexist without hierarchy. Working at the scale of the body shaped my approach to narrative, intimacy, and movement, and allowed ideas of ecology, care, and imagined balance to emerge through fabric, pattern, and stitch. This body of work forms the foundation of my current wall-based textile collages, where those same worlds expand beyond the body into larger, immersive spaces.
